Feed me this Summer is a campaign by Rob Rees, the Cotswold Chef to provide food for those families who normally get free school meals during term time. Debbie arranged for Severn View Primary to be the location for Stroud and has seen over 200 people fed so far this holiday. Governors, parents and staff have helped out setting up tables, tidying up and encouraging people to come along. Aswell as arranging for the food and location, Debbie also asked the Credit Union, Housing Benefits, and Neighbourhood Wardens to come along to offer money and savings advice. Play Rangers have also been able to come and provide a fun filled day of food related activities for the children, thanks in part to a grant from Stroud Town Council. The events will continue to run through the rest of August.
