Back in November, Debbie reported on her discussions with Westmorland the company who were opening the new Motorway Service Area.

The unique selling point for this service area is no franchises just home cooked and local food. Debbie has been keen for local producers to contact the company so their products can be stocked. A reward for her support came last week, when she and other supporters were invited to visit prior to it opening on 6th May. This picture features where products stocked in the Farm Shop and restaurant come from. As well as local produce 150 local people are working on the North bound service. The South bound will be opening in a years time.

Debbie said " It was really exciting to go and visit the service area and get a guided tour. I was really impressed at the quality of the food in the restaurant and the Farm Shop stocks an amazing array of meat, cheese, pies and other local produce"
