Bagels

Use the normal bread recipe below omitting the oil.
Shape into rolls and then use the handle of a wooden spoon to make holes in the centre.
Allow to rise
Now this is the key difference. Set a pan of water boiling and put each bagel into the boiling water for 1 minute.
Glaze with an egg white and then cook for 10-15mins at 150 degrees centigrade
